Getting Started with TheResolverBot

This guide will walk you through setting up and using TheResolverBot for the first time.

Prerequisites

  • A Telegram account
  • Access to the Telegram app (mobile or desktop)
  • Basic familiarity with Telegram bots

Step 1: Start a Conversation

  1. Open Telegram
  2. Search for @TheResolverBot or visit https://t.me/TheResolverBot
  3. Click "Start" or send /start
  4. The bot will greet you and explain available modes

Step 2: Choose Your First Mode

TheResolverBot offers three primary modes:

/stabilize - De-escalation

Use when emotions are running high and you need to calm the situation.

/clarify - Clarification

Use when there's confusion or miscommunication about what's being discussed.

/close - Conclusion

Use when you want to bring the conversation to a productive end with clear next steps.

Step 3: Provide Context

After selecting a mode, share the conversation context:

  1. Paste the relevant messages or describe the situation
  2. Include key details about tone, relationships, and stakes
  3. Be as specific as possible for better results

Step 4: Review and Use the Response

The bot will generate a suggested response:

  • Read it carefully—don't send it blindly
  • Adapt it to your voice and style
  • If it doesn't fit, ask for alternatives or try a different mode
